Gamblin 1980 Oil Colors Set & Panel

In order to reduce the cost of oil colors Gamblin has produced the 1980 student line of oil paints using the finest refined linseed oil but bulked with marble dust (calcium carbonate). More affordable colors have been made with these three ingredients since oil painting began. With 1980 colors, artists experience colors that are true, without homogenized texture or muddy color mixtures.

Gamblin's Set of 1980 Oil Colors is intended to give painters a thoughtfully constructed palette of their luscious oil colors to support any style of painting. This set is built around a primed, ready-to-use painting panel handcrafted in North America from sustainably forested birch wood.
